The Morning Post’s aeronautical expert says that Signor Mussolini has ordered the Machi and Fiat ilrms immediately to build aeroplanes which will wrest the Schneider Cup from Britain at all costs. America and Germany also intend to compete. Meanwhile Britain’s plans are not decided, as the holder must defend the' trophy against the utmost efforts of two or three Governments, yet Royal Air Force pilots arc forbidden to participate, while the Air Ministry j, only willing to hear a proportion of the cost of any other competitors.
