Won by a length, with a neck between second and third. Time, 1.44 2-5. MAIDEN STAKES, five furlongs. 1 AUSTRALIS 1 3 CARD TRICK 2 7 ADMINISTRATION 3 Also started. —Grey Spear; Lady Generay filly; Spearmiss; Agreeable; Black-Eyed Sue; Stanchion; Flying Binge; Fullmark; Indelible; Thurville; Sambur; Cornhill; Tragic; St. Melba. Won by a length. Time, lm 3 5-Bs. FLYING HANDICAP, six furlongs. 3 SARCHEE, 7.4 1 6 LAUSANNE, 8.0 2 7 MIREUSONTA, 8.3 3 Also started. —Polyphemus, 8.9; Willow Wai, 7.10; Lady Ideal, 7.4; Inner Harbour, 7.0. Won by a length, with half a-length separating second and third. Time, 1.15 1-5.
