ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES
PICKED UP UNCONSCIOUS. WAIIII, Tuesday. After being found lying on the ground in an unconscious condition, Mr L. Buchanan, a Waihi Plains farmer, was admitted to the Waihi Hospital last night suffering from concussion and bruises. (Exactly Tsfcct happened is not known, but as Mr. Buchanan had been riding after cattle on his farm during the afternoon, it is presumed that he was thrown from his horse. KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Through being knocked down by a motor-car in Adelaide Road this afternoon, Joyce James, aged 6J years, sustained very serious injuries.
