TUESDAY'S SESSION. (Special to Times*.} CAMBRIDGE, Wednesday. The Cambridge Musical and Elocutionary Competitions were continued on Tuesday, the attendance being well maintained. The recalls for the morning and afternoon were: — Piano Solo, under 10, "Minuet in G" (Beethoven). —Recalls: Jean Hawkins (Cambridge) and Erma Macky (Cambridge).

There were 17 competitors in this class, which the judge (Mr Temple White) commented on as being particularly pleasing. In addition to those recalled, the following were highly commended: Mrs Colin Wood (Cambridge), Miss Edna Langmuir (Te Awamutu), Miss N. M. Edwards (Te Awamutu), and Miss Delia Clapham (Hamilton).
