PAINFUL ACCIDENT.
PLAYING WITH LAWNBIOWER. The young son of Mr and Mrs W. P. Choat, of. Selkirk Street, while playing on the lawn yesterday, had the misfortune to get his right hand caught in the knives of the lawnmower, which his elder brother was using, with the result that the, two middle lingers were practically severed. lie was taken to the hospital, where it was found necessary to amputate them about the middle joint.
