DECISION IN SYDNEY. BETTING DECLARED LEGAL, 'United Press SYDNEY, October 4. In th-e case concerning the legality oi betting at mechanical hare coursing matches Mr Justice Campbell in Chambers to-day delivered his reserved judgment. He found that there .were no fundamental differences in the principal objective and method of enclosed coursing and of mechanicalhare coursing. In both cases it was a question of speed and cleverness. His Honour therefore found that betting on mechanical hare coursing was legal, and the rule nisi granted on September 15 was made absolute.
