KITCHEN EVENING.
A warm tribute was paid to Miss Winnie Aspden by her many friends on the occasion of her approaching marriage at a kitchen evening held at the residence of Mr and Mrs Sanders, of Pularuru. The large number of presents were both of the useful and ornamental variety. They formed the basis of a competition which provided great amusement, as each guest had to guess the contents of a parcel. The evening was spent in happy social intercourse —games, competitions and musical items being much enjoyed. The guest of honour was the recipient of the best wishes of Ulg partmz guests*
