FOSTERING GOOD FEELING. PRESIDENT COOLIDGE'S .PLANS. HIGHWAY AND AERIAL MAILS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Rec. October 3, 9.45 a.m.) WASHINGTON, October 2. The President, Mr Coolidge, has proposed a plan to build a monumental Highway from Maine to Valparaiso (Chile), as an effective project to bring the people of South America into more direct business relations witli those of the United States, thus creat-ing-better feeling between the two peoples. The President also approves of an idea for establishing a postal air service to South .America partly financed by the United States Congress.
