JUNIOR RUGBV. CAMBRIDGE v. HAMILTON. There was a good muster of spectators on Victoria Square, Cambridge, on Saturday, when a really good match took place between the local Juniors and Hamilton Juniors. With a dry ball the game was frequently opened up, and some brilliant play by both sets of backs was witnessed. The visitor's won the game in the last quarter, scoring 11 points to nil.

The teams were as follows: — Cambridge: Foster, Dagg, McFarlane, Morris, Darrow, Hollier, Bryne, Chubb, Curie, Grayling, Hollier, Speake, Irvine, Hair, McLeish. Hamilton: Gilling, Tooman, Clarldn, Latta, Tatley, St. George, Grcvillc, Denz, Charleston, Walters, Cassidy, Scott, Tassell, Johnson.

Play was of an even nature to the end of the spell, and there was still no score, but the Hamilton backs showed their superiority Almost immediately on resuming in the last quarter Hamilton attacked strongly. Denz was seen in some nippy work behind the scrums, but Cambridge put up a great deience. Hamilton were not to be denied, and coming again with a fine back movement in which Denz, Clarkin, and Greville took part, the last-named scored a fine try. Clarkin converted with a fine kick. Shortly after Cambridge were penalised in their own 25, and Clarkin lucked another goal. Within three minutes of starting play again Cambridge were p-nalised for off-side play in their own territory, and Clarkin made no mistake with the kick. The game ended shortly afterwards with the scores: — Hamilton H Cambridge 0 Mr 11. Vanse was referee. The team was kindly sent by the Hamilton Union with the object of assisting the local union in an endeavour to raise funds for injured players. ODDFELLOWS. CAMBRIDGE v. PAEROA. Following the junior match a game was played between representatives of the Cambridge and Paeroa Oddfellows' Lodges. The Paeroa team generously made the visit to Cambridge, with the object of making a game to raise funds for the local union's injured players. • The game was closely contested, and there was some brilliant play on both sides. The result was a win for the home team by G points to 5. Mr W. Webber was referee. GAMES AT TE AWAMUTU. The football season in Waipa was brought to a* conclusion on Saturday afternoon, when a team from Hunlly and Ngaruawahia combined paid a visit to Te Awamutu and met a team from the Te Awamutu Club at Albert Park. After an interesting game the home, team was successful in winning by 19 points to G. Mr S. A. Maonamara was referee. The Waipa junior representatives played the Maniapoto juniors. This game was much closer, but the home team was again successt'ull, winning this time by 11 points to G.
