HAMILTON v. PAEROA. PAEROA, Sunday. Members of the Paeroa Golf Club yesterday defeated a team from Hamilton by five wins to three, with one game all square. Details are as follows, Hamilton players being mentioned first:— Rees defeated Hollis, Hemus defeated Miller, Kirkman defeated Hubbard, Westwater lost to Moresby, Money lost to Hunter, Leitch lost to Hedge, Gromwell lost to Steedman, McKindly lost to 11. Thorps, Blakcway and Wilkinson all square. In the Ladies' Club handicap, Mrs F. Hubbard defeated Miss Tierney, 5 and G.
In the final of the ladies' championship Mrs Miller defeated Mrs Lawrence, G and 5. HAMILTON CLUB. 'At St. Anrews on Saturday the second bogey handicap round in connection with the Gilbey Cup was played. The best cards returned were as follows:—Pemberton, 7 up; Guy, 6 up; Wynne, Macbeth, Atkins, 4 up; Sutcliffe, Grey, Eiby, 3 up; Simpson, 2 up; Russell, Pountney, Awdry, W. Horton sr., N. Johnson, Wilkes, 1 up. HAMILTON LADIES CLUB.
