The Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s Spring meeting was held to-day in overcast weather. The course was in good order and the attendance fair. Results: —

Scratched: Peneus and Timapouri
Won by two lengths, five lengths between second and third. Time, 3.20.
TRIAL STAKES. Five Furlongs. 2 Keddar, 8.0 1 3 Tom Byrne, 8.0 2 1 Liason, 8.0 3 All started. Won by a length; two lengths between second and third. Time, 1.3 1-5.
HAWKE’S BAY GUINEAS. One mile. 4 Doree, 8.5 1 1 Palela, 8.10 2 3 Singleton, 8.10 3 Scratched: King Midas, Torquil, Marsurd, and Fairy Mark. Won by a head, half a length between second and third. Time, 1.43 3-5.
