It is a picture of one thousand and one thrills. Submarine warfare —never before screened. Fights on land and sea; breathless action; tense drama; and then the final moments of awe-inspir-ing suspense; beauty facing the firing squad and a hero duelling singlehanded with a monster of the deep. “ Marc Nostrum ” impressed a large audience last night. It will he screened again to-night, when another big audience is expected. Seats may be reserved by ringing 1580. STRAND AND FRANKTON THEATRES A real glimpse of Broadway’s night life can be seen in “ Oh, Baby!” the At Pitchman production which l-larlcy Knoles directed for Universal, and which comes to the above Theatres to-night. The cabaret scene includes the entire revue from The Twin Oaks, the newest night club to become popularised along the Great White Way. The other feature is “ The False Alarm,” a story of the Fire Brigade. Pleasing all of the people once is a hard job—a big task, but it is done in this picture.
