N.Z. FARMERS’ UNION.
WHATAWHATA BRANCH. The annual meeting of the Whatawhata branch of the Farmers’ Union (which had been postponed on account of had weather) was held last week, and was well attended. The president, Mr. T. J. Roach, presided and expressed his pleasure at the increased attendance. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr. T. J. Roach; vice-presidents, Messrs. N. Better and J. Walmsley; delegate to Waikato sub-provincial, Mr F. Higginson; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Sutton; auditor, Mr. A. Livingstone; committee, Messrs. Magner, Edwards and J. Higginson.
It is hoped to arrange for an address by Mr. Wild at an early date.
