JAPAN'S POPULATION.
RAPID INCREASE. PRESSING WORLD PROBLEM. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received November 9 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, November 8. Gonnoske Komai, the Japaneti poet, in an article in the Daily Express, points out that the Nippon'B population had increased by 6,500,000 in five years, and there were 875,385 births over deaths during the year. The most important question confronting the Nipponese, as well as citizens of the outside world, is whether the Japanese are going to continue to increase for ever at this astounding ratio. Is it safe for the future peace of the world to allow Japan's population to take its natural course unarrested?
