WAIKATO ASSOCIATION. A meting of the management committee of the Waikalo Cricket Association was held on Monday last, ilicro being present Messrs Ilcrrick, Allen. Taylor, Campbell. Wallis, Toombs, Bccchcy, Dixon, Whiting and Johnson. Mr M. 0. Sinclair notified his acceptance of [lie Waikalo Association's dclegatcsliip on 'the New Zealand Cricket Council. It was resolved that all clubs be notified that results must bo sent in writing to the secretary of the association by the various club secretaries. The request of the Frankton Club to have its lapsed Junior fixture v. Railway or the 30th ultimo., played at a later date, was declined on the ground of all clubs being alfoctcd by Defence requirements, and the match was awarded to Railway. The request of the Muntly Cricket Club to enter the Waikalo Cricket Association's competition was declined on the ground Of llio lateness of the entry. The request of the Technical School for the use of five wickets on Seddon Park on Wednesdays, from 1 p.m. to 3.30 p.m., was granted, subject to suitable arrangements being made with the Primary Schools Cricket Association as to time of games and use of material. It was decided to affiliate with the Auckland Suburban Cricket Association. The Cambridge Club is to be informed that the Cricket Association does not provide matting for gamcs > outside Seddon Park. It was reported that the malting used on No. 3 ground, Seddon Park, was left on the ground over the week-end by the competing teams, Rugby and Railway, and teams competing are to be notified that each club is responsible for taking out and returning one piece of mailing, future lapses of this sort to bo dealt with with severity. It j\vas decided that the Senior A and ~* B' competition bo of three rounds and the Junior be of two rounds. The draw is as follows: Senior A. Old Boys v. Hamilton, No. 1, Seddon Park. Frankton v. Technical Old Boys, No. 4, Seddon Park. Frankton v. Y.M.C.A., No. 3, Seddon Park. Old Boys v. Cambridge, No. 2 Steele Park. Hamilton East v. Railway, No. 2, Railway. Junior. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20. Rugby v. Hamilton* East, No. 3, Seddon Park. Old Boys v. Frankton, No. 4, Seddon Park. Railway v. Y.M.C.A., Railway, No. 2 Cambridge v. Technical Old Boys, Cambridge. TECHNICAL OLD BOYS V. OLD BOYS In the match Old Boys batted first and made 55 runs (Hastings 10, Roye 13 not out). In their second innings they made 65 for 4, and declared (Clough 20, Hastings 23). Technical Old Boys in their first innings made 30, and in their second scored 87 for 4 (Mackenzie 41 not out, Seccombe 20, Wernham IS) Bowling: Clough (Old Boys) 10 for 5, Buckland (Old Boys) 3 for 3, Hill (Technical) 23 for 5. Old Boys declared giving Technical an odds on chance to score 85 in an hour. The last over just on G o'clock enabled Technical to beat the clock and win by six wickels.
