CLAY BIRD SHOOTING.
MORRINSVILLE CLUB. The Morrinsville Gun Club held a shoot on Saturday. Results were:— No. 1 Sweep. 5 birds.—ll. Barlow, C. McDavitt and A. Scholium tied, and in the shoot-off Barlow won. No. 2 Sweep, G birds.—S. Parlour and C. McDavitt lied with the possible. McDavitt won the shoot-off. No. 3 Sweep, G birds.—M. Warren and C. McDavitt lied with the possible. Warren won the shool-off. Mr A. Bengc's trophy for novices, first shoot, 7 birds. —A Scholium, 5 birds; B. Russell, 5 birds.
