The Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Health, will leave Wellington on Thursday evening for Dargavillo and Whanagrei. Mr T. Marks, of Wellington, is al the Hamilton Hotel. Mr T. G. Coombes. of Hamilton, has been visiting Christchurch. Mr and .Mrs C. A. Porter, of Auckland, who are visiting Hamilton, arc al tlie Commercial Hotel.
The Royal Show judges, Messrs J. l'ritchard, D. Wallers and G. L. Wilson, arrived at Auckland from Australia to-day. They will judge the Fricsian, Jersey and Ayrshire sections pcctively. Messrs 11. G. Wooller, Auckland, and .1. U. Page, of Invorcargill. who have been- chosen from among 30 applicants lo go io the Sandhurst Royal Military College. England, to undergo a course of training, will leave for England next month. They will attend the college for IS months. The new engineer of the Waikato County Council, Mr A. A. Woodward, who look over his duties last month, was welcomed to the Council by the chairman and councillors this morning. Mr Woodward said lie was out lo improve conditions in the County and all he asked for was the co-operi-Mon of the councillors. . _ .
