RESULTS FROM RICCARTON.
COMMENDATION THE DERBY VICTOR. The spring meeting of the Auckland Racing Club was concluded yesterday. Victory In the King Edward Memorial went to the Wanganui-trained candidate, Mask, who scored In commendable style. A feature was the double success of the home-trained Master Doon, who led the sprinters home In the Epsom Handicap and again proved superior to the opposition In the Liverpool Handicap, the concluding event of the programme. There was a drop In totalisator receipts at the meeting. The Canterbury Jockey Club's fixture was continued at Rlccarton, where Commendation added to his list of successes by annexing the New Zealand Derby Stakes, Grand Knight and Pluthalr were among winners on the day at tho Southern carnival.
