WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Influenza, while still very prevalent in Wellington, is said lo be improving, and there will be no need lo close the schools. MORE SCHOOLS CLOSED. It is estimated that of 280.000 people in the Cautcrbury-Wcstland health district 80.UUO arc affected. TWENTY-SEVEN SCHOOLS CLOSED. CHRIST/CHURCH, Tuesday. Twenty-seven schools in Canterbury are now closed as a result of colds and inllucnza.
