METHODIST CHURCH
MATANGI TRUSTEES. A meeting of the Methodist Church trustees was held at Matangi on Friday evening, Rev. Lcadley presiding. The Government Valuation Department advised that the trust was exempt from rales on both sections. It was decided to have installed in the church two electric heaters. It was also decided that while lhe workmen were engaged on the job alterations be made to the lighting system. The secretary was instructed to convey to the ladies' guild lhe thanks of the Trust for its splendid donation to the funds, and also for cleaning the church.
The secretary presented a financial report, which showed a credit balance in lhe fund of £lO 12s Sd. The estimated expenditure to the end of lhe financial year was £3O. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded lhe secretary, Mr F. Q. Buckingham, for the large amount of work he had done in conncctoinn with the trust.
