COLLECTOR "HOLD-UP.
NO ARRESTS MADE.
STRANGE DEVELOPMENTS LIKELY (United Press Association.) Received June 8, 11.30 a.m. SYDNEY, June 8. Although many search parlies are scouring the district around the township of Collector for the armed man, no trace of him has been found. The inspector of police, who is in charge of the search, said he had formed certain opinions which might lead to strange developments. This is the case in which a commercial traveller alleged that he was stuck up by a man on the rond, and after he resumed his journey was shot at, the bullet penetrating the hood of his car. The traveller returned with, a constable, and when they reached the spot another shot was flreel from the scrub, the missile passing through the sleeve of the constable's tunic.
