STABLILISING DAIRY PRODUCE. AN AUSTRALLAN SCHEME. COLLABORATION BETWEEN STATES (United Press Association.) (Received June 8, 11.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, June 8. At a conference dealing with agricultural matters and which was attended by representatives of all the States a motion in favour of stabilising dairy industry by setting up butter and cheese boards in each Stale to act in collaboration witli each other and wilh the FederaPDairy Produce Control Board was discussed. One delegate said that as the result of the stabilisation scheme for the first time for many years local prices were 9s (5d per cwt. or Id per lb higher thanHie London price. Furthermore, comparing the beginning of 1920 and 1925 prices in the overseas markets were about on a par, but local prices wcr? Gd per lb higher in 1926. The motion was finally agreed to.
