The Big Three Art Union, organised by the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association and the Maungakiekie Golf Club, was drawn in Scots Hall last evening. The winners of the prizes of £25 or over are as follow: First prize, £IOOO, &o. 851.397. Elsie Cann, 99 Victoria Street, Hamilton; second prize, £IOOO, No. J5G.196, Uncle All, Palmerston North; third prize, £IOOO, No. 872.954, A. Jack, 03 Perth Street, Christchurch; fourth prize, £250, No. 1101,712, .Mrs G. Bailey, 101, Cooke SI root, Lyall Bay; fifth prize, £25, No. G 64.644, Ewan Smyth, Yv'akanui Station, Wairoa; sixth prize, No. F9O,OSS, C. Butters, Rangiora; seventh prize, £25, No. FG1.152, J. L. Morgan, 74 Selwyn Street, Spreydon; eighth prize, £25, G 24,407, W. Ciough, 8 Groove Road, Edendalc.
The numbers were drawn by Mr P. N. Bartram, M.P. It was announced that the art union would show a satisfactory profit, but definite figures were not available.
