An Order-in-Council in last week’s Gazette notifies alterations in the Kirikiriroa Drainage District. The amateur golf championship of New South Wales was won by Hector Morrison by three up and two to play.
By a proclamation in last, week’s Gazelle the cost of maintenance of Jones Drain and Hie llamilton-Eureka drain, county of Waikato, are apportioned as between Hie Eureka Drainage Board (Hie controlling body) and tho Tauialiero lload Board. The Hoad Board is lo pay 1125 towards Hie costs already incurred in improving and reconstructing Jones drain; it is lo pay JJ2 ids per annum towards the cost of maintaining .I ones drain, and £2 towards the future eosl of maintaining Hie llamillou-Kuri ka drain.
