DISTRICT NURSING.
HELPING DISTRESSED FAMILIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HASTINGS, Saturday. That an association for district nursing be formed in Hastings and application made to the Hospital Hoard for that purpose, was the decision reached by a representative meeting of Hastings citizens convened by the Mayor last night. An executive, consisting of prominent citizens, the majority women, was appointed. The object of the movement i 3 to provide assistance in the (roatpnont of poor and diwiresond families.
