BASKET BALL.
WAIKATO ASSOCIATION. The primary schools opened their 1926 season 14st Wednesday at Scddon Park. The weather was fine, and the youngsters were very keen after the iong spell. Unfortunately, the grounds were not marked out as well as they might he, and this made the work of the referees somewhat difficult; but no doubt before next Wednesday they xvil be in proper playing order. The following were the scores:— Whiliora BIG v. Fairfield 10. East B 11 v. Convent 3. Frankton A S v. Whitiora A 6. East A 19 v. West A 13. Frankton Convent 19 v. West B 0. West C 5 v. East C 3.
