AUSTRALASIAN GRAND LODGE (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. Private adivee from Mr L. D. Ritchie, who attended the triennial meeting of the Grand Lodge of Australasia, 1.0. C F„ states that much important business was transacted. it was decided lo draw lip a code for Australasia as tiie charter from the Sovereign Grand Lodge allows considerable lattitude. The matter of national insurance, which is agitating Friendly Societies in Australia, was discussed, and it was resolved to protest against any legislation prejudicing the societies.
The following officers were elected: Grand Sire, Mr W. Bale (Queensland) ; Dcpuly, Mr L. D. Ritchie (New Zealand) ; Grand Secretary, Mr ,T. C. Smith
(Victoria) ; Grand Treasurer, Mr A. A. Watson (New South Wales) ; Junior P.G.S., Mr Carl F. S. (. .asgow (New South Wales). Tiie next session will be held at Brisbane.
