SHOW ATTRACTIONS.

STAIG'S ENTERPRISES. For unabashed daring the thrills provided by Slaig's "Globe of Death" at the Waikato Winter Show would be difficult to rival. Yesterday aflernoon and evening ttie "Globe of Death" was the centre of particularly marked attention by continuous streams of Show visitors. Mounted on motor cycles 'inside a steel globe cage, the Staig Sisters performed astounding revolutions, including looping the loop with an alacrity and daring that would hardly be credible. Travelling at a terrific rate of speed and crossing and re-crossing within a hair'sbreadth of each other, they held their audiences spellbound. The dexterity and daring of the Staigs was truly something to marvel at. So highly skilled arc they in this death-defying deed that the danger is more apparent than real. The "Globe of Death" takes the palm among the sensations of later times. Staig's merry-go-round and ocean wave are also popular attractions. GIRL GLASS BLOWER. There seems to he an all-round determination on the pari of men, women and childrn lo see the unique exhibition of glass-blowing given by Miss Mac Kingsley at the Winter Show. The large marquee was packed with satisfied patrons. Miss Kingsley gives a wonderful demonstration of what can be made of glass. It is astounding to see the many articles, such as kangaroos, vases, swans, sailing ships, smoking pipes, glass hair and birds of Paradise, take shape without the aid of moulds of any kind. This talented girl Is a charming personality and her exhibition is a work of art. During Miss Kingsley's demonstrations she gives a most interesting lecture, describing the manufacture of each article, also the history of glass, which goes hack as far as 2000 years B.C. The model of the Sydney Harbour bridge is a unique piece of. work and is said lo contain 150 miles of spun glass. Miss Kingsley, who is ably assisted by Mr W. E. Westwbod, himself a master at the art, will continue her-i exhibition throughout the Winter Show.
