THE PENRITH TRAGEDY. TRIAL OP TIIE FATHER. SYDNEY, May 31. At the trial of Alfred Watson, who was charged with the murder of his daughter, Ada, at Penrith, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty on the ground of insanity. Ada Watson, aged 22, was on March 17 found mortally wounded in the residence of her father, Alfred Watson, aged 55, at Penrith, 3-1 miles lroin Sydney. Her head had been battered with a hammer and an axe. The girl was removed to a hospital, where she died.
