“Paddy’s Market.” Despite Ihe inclemency of tin* weather (lie 'Paddy's Market” liolrl in the Ngahinopourl Hall was a huge success in every way. Tile residents who organised the affair are to lie complimented on the splendid success, and the public, had will be very much benefited by the money derived. The produce stall also was well supplied with fresh vegetables and packets of homemade 'sweets were in great demand. Gillard was M.C., and I the music, was supplied by Mrs .1. .1. I Ryburn, Mrs R. Gillard and Miss Saunders. Hockey. The hockey season is in full swing, and last Saturday the local team : journeyed to Hamilton and played a j match against Old Roys. The results , of the match were in (he Hamilton , team’s favour, Ngabincpouri losing by nil lo Ihrec games.
