TERRIFIC CYCLONE
1200 PEOPLE KILLED. DEVASTATED COUNTRYSIDE. THOUSANDS HOMELESS (Received May 31, 12.30 p.m.) DELHI, May 30. Twelve hundred persons were killed and the country on both sides of tho Mayarange River was strewn with carcases of cattle by a cyclone which loft Akyab practically unscathed. Thousands are homeless. Relief organisations are helpless owing to the extent of tho devastations.
