Sir,—May I, through the columns of your paper, reach Hie large number of people widen should he interested in the tour arranged by tiie Waikato Swamp Development League for the ISlh inst. On every hand we have it cheerfully admitted that if our swamp lands can be brought into production the gain to the district and to the Dominion as a whole will be incalculable. The object of the tour is to demonstrate what these lands will do, and we think, in view of the interest displayed in official and business circles right throughout Hie Dominion, that tiie people of this district should do their utmost to support the movement and make Hie occasion an outstanding success. Three Ministers of the Crown have already indicated their intention lo be present, and members of Parliament, representatives of local authorities, and business and commercial interests throughout Ihe whole province, ar.d representative settlers are turning out la sec what we have to show them. The League seeks the co-operation of Hamilton town and country, and the Waikato district generally, in making this occasion one long lo be remembered in these parts.

Cars will leave the Hamilton Post Office at 10.30 a.m. sharp, and any who have spare seats would greatly assist if they would communicate with me at the earliest possible moment notifying same.
