"XTOTICE is Hereby Given that the Hamilton Borough Council proposes to. raise a special loan under the provisions of "Tha I,oral Bodies Loans Act, 1913," for the benefit of that portion of the, Rorough of Hamilton described in the Schedule hereto and hereinafter referred to as the Macroa Special Rating Area. The purpose for which the loan is required is to pay the cost of nil necessary labour, materials, plant, tools, engineers' fees, plans, supervision and compensation to owners of property for or in respect of the following public works in the said Macroa Special Rating Area. For laying, con's true ting, supplying, and fitting mains, pipes, machinery. meters, fittings and appliances for the supply of water £6500 For making and constructing sewer drains and drainage works •■ 11,900 The total amount to be borrowed is 18,400 Tin; proposed security for the loan Is a special rale of sevenpence halfpenny in the pound on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property In the said Macroa Special Rating Area. It is proposed that the loan shall be repayable in not more, than Thirty-six and a-half years, and to make provision for a. sinking fund of not less than one per centum per annum. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the first year's interest anrl sinking fund, also the preliminary expenses incurred in connection with the schemes for which the loan was raised as are payable under the said Act. MAEROA SPECIAL RATING AREA. All that area in the Borough of Hamilton bounded by a line commencing at the Southernmost corner of Lot 7 deposited plan 8639 and proceeding North-Easterly along the South-Eastern boundary of that Lot to a line Easterly of Lake Street parallel to and distant 250 links from the North-Eastern side of the said Lake Street; thence South-Easterly along that line to Lot 20 deposited plan 7493, thence North-easterly along the North western boundaries of the said Lot 20 and Lots 19 to 13 inclusive on the said deposited plan 7493 the abutment of a road and Lots 11 to 1 inclusive on the said deposited plan 7493, thence South-easterly along the North-Eastern boundary of the said Lot 1; thence North-Easterly along a right line to and thence along the Soulh-Easlern boundary of Lot 4, Plan 90 lodged in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland to a point in the production of the Southwestern boundary of Allotment 37 Puketc Parish; then South-Easterly along a right line to and along the last mentioned boundary to and thence along the South-Western boundary of Allotment 243 of the said Pukete Parish to Dudley Terrace; thence North-Easterly along the Northern side of the said Dudley Terrace to the Waitawhiriwhiri Stream; thence Southerly and Westerly along that stream to the North Island Main Trunk Railway Reserve; thence Northerly along the Eastern side of the said reserve to the place of commencement.
