The National Rifle Association has announced the result of the Empire rifle shooting competition for the King's trophies. The results are:— Imperial Challenge Shield. —South Africa, 1 (average 76 per flrer); Britain, 2 (71); Australia, 3 (70); New Zealand -i (07); Canada 5 (03).

The Royal Australian Naval Reserve, Hobart, won the Senior Imperial Shield; the Lawrence Military School Cadets, Swanar, India, the Junior Imperial Shield. The Western Canada College Cadet Corps Calgary, won Earl Jellcoe's sword; and the Beaumont House School, Herons Gate, Hertfordshire, Earl llaig's sword.
