CROQUET.
TOURNAMENT AT FRANKTON. THE SINGLES COMPETITION. The final of tiic Frankton Junction Croquet Club's Singles Tournament was concluded this morning, and resuited in a win for Mrs Coombes with a score of 20. The runner-up was Mrs Bartlctt, who scored J 5. The game was commenced on Saturday afternoon, and followed throughout by a large crowd of Indies, who look a keen interest in the proceedings. Some splendid piny was witnessed, although the greens were a liltl" on the heavy side after Friday night's rain.
