ENGINEERS' WAGES.
NEGOTIATIONS FAIL. (Australian and N.Z. Cahle Assn.) LONDON, January 29. Negotiations for an increase of £1 a week in the wages of 700,000 engineering workers have broken down after having been in progress for two years.
The Daily Herald says the present wages of skilled engineers are from r>os to 60s a week.
