THREE MONTHS MORE.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Thursday. Walter Batterby, a prisoner serving a sentence in the local gaol, was this morning sentenced to three months' additional imprisonment for attempting to escape on January 20. In June last he escaped arid was at largo for .several hours, but on the present occasion .he was immediately recaptured.
