TWO REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES

The local Association commenced two matches: at Seddon Park this morning, the No. 1 team meeting' Rotolua on No. 2 wicket, and the No. 2 t<-am playing To Kulti on No. 1. The vvtathei- was ideal for cricket and the wickets were in good order, if a trille on the slow side.

Rabone won the toss, and Taylor and AD3n opened briskly, the latter doing most of the scoring. At 28 Allen put his leg in front to Godsalve, and two balls later Eggleston, the incomer, wa? bowled by the same bowlei*. Rabone was next, and 50 went up after half an. hour's play.
