SEDITION CHARGES.
OPENING OP TIIK DEFENCE

LONDON, November 18
The trial of the 12 Comunists who are charged with being concerned in a seditious conspiracy was resumed today.
The case for the prosecution was concluded, and Sir Henry Slesser, King’s Counsel, opened the case for the defence. He submitted that the documents or the extracts from defendants’ newspapers, which had been cited by the prosecution, did not constitute'sedition or libels, and that defendants did not conspire to publish lliein.
