ANOTHER LARGE CROWD. DUNEDIN, Thursday. A half-holiday for the Otago A. and P. Show resulted in many thousands of people flocking to the Exhibition today. . The event of the evening was the Exhibition Ball in flic Festival Hall. It was attended by Their Excellencies the Governor-General and Lady Alice Fergusson, the Prime Minister and Mrs Coates, and Commodore Beale. The Argyll and Sutherland Band supplied the music.

The Exhibition authorities have arranged with the Telegraph Department lo issue a daily telegram of about 200 words to newspapers free of charge. ,
