A FORD ANNOUNCEMENT.

STRIKING ALTERATIONS. The facetious remarks so of ten. used in connection with the Ford product will no longer hold, for the latest models are changed completely, and no longer will the Ford be so easy to single out. In presenting the new production the Ford Sales and Service Depot of Hamilton do so with pride, for a new departure from previous standards is immediately apparent. The body ia much longer and lower, more roomy, and is now an automobile which any one would be proud to own. The graceful stream lines of its low allsteel body impel instant admiration, while other important refinements add new utility to this wonderful proposition. The main point, which is the cause of much comment, is that the purchase price remains the same. This new model comes to the purchaser fully equipped for the road, there are no extras to buy, and the equipment includes an electric starter, Ave cord tyres, larger steering wheel, windshield wiper, rear vision mirror and dash lamp. The coachwork is finished in a charming shade of nutria fawn, with nickel plated radiator, and it is to be expected that the new production will win enthusiastic approval wherever it is shown. A few lines explaining the new improvements will no doubt be interesting to present Ford owners, also to prospective purchasers, and they are as follows: —Body is more streamlined and all-steel construction, 3J inches longer, 5 inches wider, 4J inches lower from top to road. Side curtains on upright, opening with doers. Doors wider, opening forward. Seats redesigned for increased comfort, 2Ain lower from top seat to floor, or 4in nearer to the ground. Front seat 3in wider, rear seat Sin wider, additional 3J in between front and rear seat, giving more room for passengers and increasing floor space. Compartments under both seats for curtains and t6ols. Hood improved one-man design. Tank under cowl dash. Improved windshield. It will therefore be seen that the New Beauty Ford is entirely changed and the 1926 model is worthy of the closest consideration by those considering the purchase of a serviceable car. , Amongst the other models displayed mention must be made of the light delivery van, fitted with a Canadian allsteel body. Here is a vehicle highly suited for delivery work of all kinds, and no doubt the utility of this model will appeal to those requiring a truck for commercial purposes. The Ford Sales and Service Depot is situated in Collingwood Street, where a staff of well-trained "Ford" mechanics is at the disposal of all motorists. Stocks of benzine, tyres, oils, etc., are always on hand, and the proprietor, Mr F. Baker, will be pleased to meet all those interested ia Ford service and show them over the premises.
