CHATHAM CUP TIE.
ROTOWARO V. RAILWAYS.
Frankton Railways were drawn at the coliery centre for this engagement, and were defeated by three goals to nil. Buller and Oliver (2) scored for the home side, who deserved their win.
Railways, however, were most unfortunate to have a man injured in the first ten minutes of the game, and whilst not detracting from the merit of the Rotowaro win the handicap was a considerable one to the visitors. Mr J- Wallace, lluntly, refereed. PUKEMIRO v. HUNTLY. This was played at Pukemiro. A real ding-dong struggle was witnessed in this“need!c” match on Saturday, the two teams being great rivals, a draw of one goal each being the result.
