LEAGUE FOOTBALL
GAMES ON SATURDAY.
The Rugy League competitions were continued on Saturday, when a cople of interesting junior games were played at Hinema Park. There was a fair number of spectators to witness flic matches, wide the turf was in excellent order and the conditions all that could he desired. Frankton defeated Rotowaro by 9 points lo 5, while Whitiora were victorious after an exciting match with Athletics, who were defeated by a margin of 2 points, the final scores being 7 to 9. The play was of the fast and interesting order, the ball was handled in a methodical style by the respective teams, and on the whole the games provided two interesting contests.
