Proposed New Church.
The bazaar in aid of the building of a Church of England at Te Mata was unfortunately held in bad weather. However, in spite of that the amount realised reached the satisfactory sum of £IOO. The Christmas dinner was won by Mrs E. A. Jerome, Christmas cake , Mr J. Moore, bride doll Leslie Galvan, cake Mr E. A. Jerome. ■ The Weather. The weather has taken a cold turn for the time of year, heavy thunder storms accompanied with high winds, rain and haid have heen the order of the day. Road Repairs. The roads in the immediate vicinity of Raglan are now being repaired. Workmen are busily employed in filling up the "pot holes" and holiday visitors to Raglan should receive much benefit therefrom.
