Introductory Handicap, 1A miles. — Napland, limit, i; Golden Gate, GOyds, 2, Loch Lomond. 60yds, 3. Scratched: Bryan Bingen, Hooley, and Pura Bell.

December Handicap, H miles.— Ruby Huon, limit, 1; Glandore, 12yds, 2; Doctor Dillon, limit, 3. Scratched: Wrlgley, Admiral Lock, Satinbird, Direct Chimes, Taneatua, Klngsclerc, Blue Star, Grey Peter and Daphne Wood.

For the second day of the Manawatu races the weather is wet, after a fine morning. The attendance is large. Results : i Kelvin Handicap.—The Tank (7.3) 1, Star Ranger (8.9) 2, Bonnie Gold (7.5) 3. All started. Won by a head. Time 1.50 1-5. .

High-weight Handicap. Bonena (10.0) 1, Brigadier Bill (10.9) 2, Mangawhero (10.3) 3. Scratched: Highway. Won by length.- Time 2.24 1-5.-TARANAKI RACES. POSTPONED TILL MONDAY. NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday. . Owing to very heavy rain the second day's races were postponed. till Monday. DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB. SECOND DAY RESULTS. DUNEDIN, Saturday. The second- day of the Dunedin Jockey Club's meeting opened in light drizzle. The track is fairly heavy overnight rain. Results: Hurdles. —Portsidc (11.10) 1, 'Frisco' Mail (12.8) 2, Red Kriss (10.1) 3. All started. Won by a neck, a head between second and third. Time, 2.52 4-5.
