CHRISTCHURCH SALES. DETAILS OP PRICES. CHRISTCHRCH. Saturday. Particular interest was taken in the first Christchurch wool sale of the season, held to-day. The catalogue was double the size of last season's opening catalogue, the total number of bales offered being 11,400. The rangs of values at to-day's wool sale was as follows: — Merino: Super, 34d to 38d; medium, 30d to 33d; inferior, 27d to 29d. Halfbred: Extra super, 40d to 42? d; super, 36id to 39d; medium, 32*d to 36d; inferior, 28Jd to 32d. Corriedalc:' Extra super, 40d to 4Hd; super, 36d to 38id; medium, 32d to 36d; inferior, 30d to 312 d. Three-quarterbred: Extra super, to 345 d; super, 28icl to 30|d; medium, 25d to 28d; inferior, to 24*d. Medium crossbred: Extra super, to 30Ad; super, 25|d to 28d; medium, 23d to 25d; inferior, 20d to 22id. Coarse crossbred: Super, 22d to 24 id; mediiim, 20£d to 22d; Inferior, 17d to 20d.
Pieces: Merino, 25id to 31d; halfbred, 22d to 31id; Corriedalc, 25*d to 303 d; crossbred, 15d to 22^d. Locks: Merino, to 192 d; halfbred, 15cl to 18|d; crossbred, Hid to lod. Bellies: Merino, 2id to 24Ad; halfbred, 18d to 25d; crossbred, 12d to 18d.
