STUDEBAKERS AND GRAYS.

♦- MANY SALES RECORDED. Judging by results—and it is results that count —there are no more popular cars at the Winter Show than the Studebakers and Grays for which the well-known firm of Messrs James Tombs and Co are agents. Several of those on exhibition have been purchased during the Show by well-known Waikato and Thames Valley residents land it is generally predicted that before the 1924 Show terminates sales of these cars will have constituted a fresh record. Messrs Tombs and Go's stand, which is the. second on the main floor of the Motor Annexe, is undoubtedly one of the most •attractive in the Show, yet at the same time it is practical. Salesmen are present to demonstrate the qualities of these cars and are wiling to explain oil details. The exhibits include the celebrated, Big Six priced at £650; the Studebaker Spcc'al Six at £525. the Light- Six's Seater at £420 and the Studebaker Light Six- 3 seater at £420. It is maintained by the users of Studebaker Cars that they combine sturdy construction and fine performance with low operating" costs. In short it .is the car for reh'ability and economy. In 1923 the manufacturers disposed of 145,167 cars, and in all have now running on the roads of the world 750,000 cars—truly stupendous figures. Messrs Tombs and 00. hav;> that confidence in the Studebaker that all they ask is to be allowed to explain and demonstrate. . In add;!ion Messrs Tombs and Co. have on exhibition two Greys sealers, the sellinc price of which is absurdly 10w—£295. This is a highly finished car which has been tested under the hardest, conditions and- haV- come through with satisfaction to air its users. The Gray may "be faithfully, termed the average man's good proposition. .An inspection of this car alone is well worth the. while o"f any Waikato resident who wishes to invest ir: a thoroughly sound proposition.
