ROUND TABLE SOCIAL. The annual social of the internal educational organisation of the .New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, known as the "Hound Table," was held at the Alexandra Hall last evening. There was a very large attendance, of members of the Dairy staff ami friends lo the number of over 200, and an exceedingly enjoyable evening was spent. , The earlier part was taken up with a concert pro., gramme, winch included a number of items received on a wireless set operated by Mr F. Haycock. One feature of this portion was a speech delivered by Mr W. Gooclfcllow, managing -director, into a wireless receiving set in Claudclands. This, considering Hie adverse atmospheric conditions owing to Ihe presence of what is known to wireless enthusiasts as "sialics." was clearly picked up by Hie set operating in the hall. Songs were contributed by Mesdames Alkcy and Ncilson and Messrs Beaver, Worm, Boyes, Morgan and Ballersby and elocutionary items were given by Miss Jean Sinclair and Mr B. Kiddey. An excellent supper followed, and dancing proceeded until I a.m. The evening was a thoroughly enjoyable one. The dance music was furnished by Miss Ebbett's orchestra, which gave Ihe greatest satisfaction. the accompaniments being excellently played by Mr .1. Battersby. The wireless apparatus was kindly 'ent by Mr Hobbs, of Claudo'auds.
