SHEEP DOG TRIALS
RESULTS AT fl/SORRINSVILLE. MORRINSVILLE, Friday. The annual sheep dog trials, under the auspices of the Morrinsville A., P. and 11. Society were keenly contested. Mr J. King, of Raetihi, was the judge. The results were as follows: Maiden Event.—Alex Russell's Bruce (Thames). 1; C. Cameron's Coolie (Morrinsville) 2; A'. Shanaghan's Spark (Ruakura Slate Farm), 3. There were seven competitors. Long Head.—Martin Mackay's Trim (Tuakau), I: S. Yov—'s Tim (Te Kuili). 2: S. Pratt's Darkey (Te Kuili) 3. There wen- 18 competitors. Driving and Yarding.—S. Pratt's Darkey. J: P. MeNaughton's Clem, 2: S. Voyce's Glynn, 3. There were IT) entries.
Special Prizes.—Dog showing most style: S. Voyce's Tim. Working dogs mosi quietly: Martin Mackay.
