THE GAME IN ENGLAND, (Reuter.) LONDON, May 28. In the county games' Yorkshire made 102 runs. Middlesex has no wickets down for 65. Notts scored .188. Hipkin took five wickets for 68. Essex has no wickets down for 133—Nicholls 59, Freeman 50 not out. Lancashire made 183 —Tyldesley 57. Freeman took six wickets for 52. Kent has one wicket down for 34. Somerset scored 259 Ingle 51. Meyer took 5 wickets for 99. Cambridge University has scored 54 for live wickets. MACDONALD'S QUALIFICATIONS. LONDON, May 28. The cricket authorities have raised the question of Mao Donald's qualifications to play for Lancashire. In reply to this MacDonald points out that he and his family have resided at, Nelson continuously since April, 1922.
